Citing from the All Energy 2010 Official Website;
"GAEL FORCE MARINE’s most recent mooring advancement is an innovative gravity anchor which has been developed specifically for the marine renewables industry. Gael Force’s Floating Gravity Based Anchor (FGBA) can be used to secure wave and tidal energy installations to the seabed with pinpoint accuracy and at a fraction of the cost of using conventional gravity anchors. The pioneering solution has won the backing of New Jersey based renewables company OPT – Ocean Power Technologies, who has contracted Gael Force to build an initial three 400-tonne FGBAs for the deployment of its PowerBuoy® wave energy device shortly to be installed at the European Marine Energy Centre in Orkney. Gael Force will also be showcasing some of their recent concrete caisson based marine structures and mooring systems."
Should you be attending either exhibition then we look forward to meeting with you throughout the course of the two days.
