Marina and harbour installations
Gael Force have a huge experience in steel and concrete fabrication and through working on general marine fabrication projects, we have designed and fabricated both steel framed and concrete pontoons for boat berthing and other uses in marinas and harbours throughout the country.
We are able to work to a project’s exacting specification in respect to pontoon dimensions and additionally can fabricate access walkways and gangways to location specific requirements. Standard sized pontoons are available fitted with mooring cleats and fendering and the option of hardwood or composite decking.
Alongside pontoon fabrication, Gael Force also fabricates floating concrete breakwaters. These structures are built to provide highly effective wave damping on less exposed marina and harbour sites or for providing protection across marina and harbour entrances. They can be fitted with appropriate navigation warnings and lights to meet specific location requirements.
Gael Force also supply a full mooring service for pontoon and breakwater installation – providing a full specification to meet the site demands and utilising the most appropriate mooring techniques and equipment to ensure security and absence of underwater obstruction.
