SeaCap and SeaMate

We currently have two ranges of feed barge – the SeaCap and SeaMate which we deliver fully fitted out with feed hoppers, air blower feed systems, generators, tankage and all electrics in addition to operational and living accommodation. Both SeaCap and SeaMate barges can also be supplied to customer specifications with an extensive list of accommodation options including under floor heating, showers and fitted galleys. The SeaCap is a highly innovative circular design which provides a very cost effective feeding solution for more exposed sites. The unique, cylindrical design of the SeaCap has inherent structural strength and requires no internal bracing, thereby simplifying build and keeping costs of fabrication low. This design also provides the SeaCap with advanced sea keeping ability allowing deployment in farm sites which can be subjected to high mean wave heights. Our SeaMate barges are rectangular or square in plan with up to 4 deck levels (2 internal), and can be fitted with multi hopper and blower feed systems with feed capacities up to 500 tonnes. SeaMate barges are built to exacting standards and provide industry leading levels of feeding performance, workability and accommodation. Gael Force have built more than 50 SeaCap and SeaMate barges for operators in Scotland, Ireland, the Faeroes, Norway and Spain. |
